Massage and Integrative Bodywork Therapy is the manipulation of the body’s soft tissue to promote blood circulation of the muscles and joints, removing waste products in the body and easing pain. The most common types of massage are:
Applies gentle gliding strokes to ease the tension of muscles and increase blood flow for pure relaxation. Swedish massage is the basis for all other massage techniques.
Deep Tissue Massage:
Uses firm pressure and slow strokes to reach deeper layers of muscle and fascia to break up scar tissue
from injury caused by trauma or overuse.
