Endometriosis

Endometriosis is characterized by endometrial tissue that may be present on the fallopian tubes, ovaries, and other areas outside the uterus, typically in the abdominal and pelvic area. A very common condition, it affects approximately 10 to 15 percent of women in the U.S. Some of the symptoms you may experience include painful periods, persistent pelvic/lower back pain, bloating, constipation/diarrhea, long period, infertility, painful intercourse. Symptoms may differ and often depend on the location of the uterine tissue. TCM regards it as stagnation of blood and Qi in your body. Liuhong have seen significant success rates in using acupuncture& herbs for endometriosis along with other natural treatment, whether used alone or to complement traditional Western medicine treatment. While acupuncture is well-known for its ability to reduce stress, it also reduces inflammation, enhances blood flow to the reproductive system, promote circulation and remove stagnation. Acupuncture dramatically reduces the pain many women with endometriosis experience.
